Our editorial standard is simple: every page must have a distinct reader purpose and must be more useful than a rewritten version of another page.
Originality and usefulness
We consolidate overlapping topics instead of creating many near-duplicate articles. Tools are designed for this site and run in the browser. We do not use placeholder restaurants or fabricate local experiences.
Restaurant information
Restaurant details can become outdated. We therefore teach readers how to verify current menus, hours, photos and reviews rather than publishing unsupported local rankings. When a restaurant is mentioned in future content, the page should state the source and review date.
Food-safety information
Safety pages use government or similarly authoritative sources. Temperatures are provided in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Readers are directed to original sources because guidance can change.
Advertising separation
Advertising does not buy editorial coverage, a score or placement. The site does not encourage readers to click advertisements. Sponsored content, if ever introduced, will be clearly labeled.
Updates and corrections
Pages carry a review date. Material changes should be reflected in the page date and sitemap. Credible correction requests are reviewed and, when appropriate, incorporated.
Use of automation
Software may assist with drafting, formatting or quality checks, but pages are selected, structured and reviewed for a specific reader need. Publishing many lightly reworded pages is contrary to this policy.
